Celebrating 100 Years – 1925 to 2025
In 2025 Sakeji Mission School will be celebrating a 100 years of God’s faithfulness. As part of the celebration several events and activities are being planned. This page is where we will be posting all of the information along with dates and links to content as it becomes available.
Event – 100 Year Memorial
As part of the first school term of 2025 a memorial will be held to celebrate the history of the school and to celebrate its place in the community and country over the past 100 years. We look forward to hosting members of the community, government and families of our current student enrolment to mark this occasion. The proposed date is to be finalized but the timeline is set for the middle of February 2025
Event – Sakeji Alumni Reunion
We are planning an Alumni reunion which will be held at Sakeji to celebrate all the years of Gods blessing and faithfulness. The purpose of this event is to allow the extended Sakeji Family to revisit the school, reconnect with others, refresh spiritually and rejoice in all that the Lord over the last 100 years. We are looking forward to hosting the event and are excited about seeing everyone.
Dates: While we acknowledge that it still seems a long way away, to facilitate this event, we are posting the proposed dates and overview here so people can begin to plan.
The reunion will be held at Sakeji from July 25th to July 28th. Proposed dates are as follows:
- July 21, 2025 to August 2, 2025 – Sakeji will open areas for camping and self care facilities for all that would like to come up early and/or stay on after the planned activities. Reservation will be required.
- July 23, 2025 – End of Term program with our current students as they wrap up the second term of school.
- July 25, 2025 to July 28, 2025 – Scheduled reunion events. Accommodation and dining at the school will be available. Reservation will be required.
Camping -We know that Sakeji it is a long way to come so we would like to make it possible for those that would like to come early and/or stay after to enjoy day trips and catching up with others. To that end, we are beginning to investigate what services the school may be able to provide. It is being proposed that catering and tenting facilities would be supplied to assist in this process if there are people interested.
Registration – At this time Sakeji is asking any who may be interested to sign up so that as we begin to plan the event. To plan and accommodate as many as possible we need to get an idea of the numbers that are coming. We are not asking for a commitment currently. Instead, we are only asking for those who are considering coming to provide some contact details so that we can keep you in the loop.

Eventually we will be asking people to officially register and commit. We have various staff members working on things like transportation, travel, accommodation and other details and contact details will be provided as well as more specific details. We are working to plan an event which honours the work that God has being doing through this school over the last 100 years.
