Celebrating 100 Years – 1925 to 2025
In 2025 Sakeji Mission School will be celebrating 100 years of God’s faithfulness. As part of the celebration several events and activities are being planned. This page is where we will be posting all of the information along with dates and links to content as it becomes available.
Event – 100 Year Memorial
On February 14th 2025 as part of the first term of the 2025 school year a memorial was held to celebrate the history of the school and to celebrate its place in the community and country over the past 100 years. Sakeji hosted past workers and representatives from the National, provincial and local government.
Event – Sakeji Alumni Reunion
We are planning an Alumni reunion which will be held at Sakeji to celebrate all the years of God’s blessing and faithfulness. The purpose of this event is to allow the extended Sakeji Family to revisit the school, reconnect with others, refresh spiritually and rejoice in all the Lord over the last 100 years. We are looking forward to hosting the event and are excited about seeing everyone.
The reunion will be held at Sakeji from July 25th to July 28th. Proposed dates are as follows:
- July 25, 2025 to July 28, 2025 – Scheduled reunion events. The registration for attending the event is now closed. Thanks to all that have booked.
Camping -We know that Sakeji is a long way to come so we would like to make it possible for those that would like to come early and/or stay after the planned activities to enjoy day trips and catching up with others. To that end, we are beginning to investigate what services the school may be able to provide. It is being proposed that catering and tenting facilities would be supplied to assist in this process if there are people interested.
Update – June 1
Registration and booking are now closed for this event. Everyone who registered should have received a number of communications. You should have had a email from the events team to sign up for any activities and events. Second you should have been added to the registration Whatsapp group. If either of these did not happen and you have registered please reach out and we will get you the relevant information. The transportation team is working to make sure that everyone gets here safe and sound. Again if you need help with transport please reach out to us and we will get you in touch with the right people. Very soon the accommodation team will sending out email to all to let you know where you will be staying and what to expect.
This event is being planned to honour the things the Lord has been doing at the school over the last 100 years.

Publication – Update on Sakeji
Publications where done at the various previous anniversaries and an updated publication is being worked on to bring that all up to date. This space will be updated as soon as we have details for this book. Plan is currently to have it ready for the July event.
Memorabilia – Sakeji Merch
Sakeji has for the last couple of years had some branded items that we have had for parents and students. That stock has been updated for the anniversary with a number of new items and colours as well. If you are interested you can locate the order form for this by clicking on the link below.
Event – PTA Event Dec End of Term
An end of the year event is being planned by the PTA and parents for existing students and parents. More details will follow on this event as the time gets closer.
